We are committed to reducing carbon dioxide emissions to combat climate change.
Our greenhouse gas reduction strategy
The sum of the greenhouse gas emissions saved by our switching to 100% renewable solar energy is 2,392,243 kWh of electricity, which is approximately equivalent to:
- Greenhouse gas emissions of 365 Passenger vehicles driven for one year.
- CO2 emissions of 190,324 gallons of gasoline consumed, OR 1,863,703 Pounds of coal burned, OR 195 homes’ energy use for one year.
- Greenhouse gas emissions avoided equal to 575 Tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled, OR 64,256 Incandescent lamps switched to LEDs
- Carbon sequestered by 27,968 tree seedlings grown for 10 years, or 2,209 acres of U.S. forests in one year, OR 11.4 acres of U.S. forests preserved from conversion to cropland in one year.
Energy efficient lighting technology
In 2020, all lighting in our facility was changed from incandescent/florescent to energy saving LEDs.
Mil thickness ranges from .8 mil (80 gauge) to 8 mil (800 gauge).
